Elliptical Trainer Guide

Elliptical trainers are a fantastic way to get fit and remain fit. Anyone who’s been a fan of the Channel 7 weight-loss show, Bringing Sexy Back, will have seen the incredible results achieved by a couple of the subjects. It was not just the loss of weight from using the elliptical, but the toning of the arms, legs, and butt in the process.

Elliptical trainers (also called elliptical cross trainers) are both smooth and low-impact. This makes them suitable for almost all Australians, and ensures injury won’t get in the way of your new fitness plans!

If you’re not sure about whether an elliptical trainer is the best for your fitness regime, then maybe pop into your local gym and pay for a single visit. Use an elliptical for half an hour, and see if you like it. Ellipticals are a little strange to use, given we all grew up walking and riding, so this is a great tip to ensure you don’t get a nice new elliptical trainer home to your home gym only to find out you don’t like using it!
