Treadmill Range Guide
It doesn’t really matter how many whacky machines people invent in our industry, the treadmill is the mother of them all. Running is something we do from 2 years old, and it’s ingrained into our metabolism, so walking, jogging, or running on a treadmill remains a hugely popular form of home exercise.
Indeed, running for fitness is easy. The fitness you build up on a running machine will translate into fitness for a run out on the road, a walk around the shopping mall, or that once-off game of corporate touch football! It’s all-round good fitness.
And of course, having a treadmill at home allows you to exercise at whatever time of day or night that you choose, irrespective of the weather or temperature outside, or whether the streets are safe in your area.
The main attributes in a treadmill are speed and incline. All the other things are components of that. The faster the machine, the more you will pay (and the larger the motor will tend to be).
We have some great videos on treadmills. The reason we chose the topics for these videos is that these are the key things you need to know. Customers in our shops always ask questions like “why is there such a price variance in treadmills”, so our video on treadmill sizes is definitely worth a watch.
Walking machines, running machines, and treadmills are all the same thing. Enjoy them for general fitness, or for weight loss, and combine them with some strength equipment to get the best of both worlds.
And just as a reminder, our Treadmill Buyer's Guide video is an excellent introductions to running machine purchases. Here it is again...
