With an air rower, the resistance in provided by fans which are rotated when you pull the handle. This replicates the experience in a boat: the tension increases as you row harder. BTW, the Kinomap App is separate from York Fitness and Fitonline, and unfortunately we cannot supply support for the bluetooth App.
