What is the stride length of the Infiniti V30? Foot pedals adjustable ? & fly wheel min to max size. Would this machine be suitable for a first elliptical? Thanks Amanda

The VG30 has a 17” stride. The foot plates are fixed but has adjustable drop arms. The VG30 doesn’t have a cast iron flywheel like other cross trainers. It has what they call a pancake magnetic wheel. This is a wheel that is made up of magnets that are set next to each in reverse polarity, north, south, north, south and so on, around the wheel which has an alloy plate that moves in and out to give smooth and constant resistance unlike all the other crosstrainers which rely on a heavy flywheel to give resistance and smoothness. Note: A heavy flywheel does not always translate to a smooth ride. A lot has to do with the quality of the bearings used and the setup of the back wheel v the position drop arms v the length of stride. Also, if the flywheel is too heavy then the momentum of the flywheel if given a quick sharp burst of power from the user can take over from the resistance and you get soft or less resistance until the wheel slows and resistance grabs again. And yes, this is a very popular first-elliptical.
