* Brushless Motor explained: Brushless motors eliminate the need for physical brushes and a rotating commutator (the components that switch current flow in traditional brushed DC motors). This offers higher efficiency, quieter operation, and longer lifespan compared to brushed motors due to the elimination of friction and wear. Brushless motors are also more compact, allowing for a smaller, low-profile housing, which translates to more running area and less trip-hazard (see the image in this listing for an illustration).
For clarity, the 2026 TM2.5BM treadmill (aka JTM2.5BM) is the upgrade from the 2025 TM250BM (jTM250BM) treadmill. It is altogether different from the JTX250BM which is part of a different, older Bodyworx range.
